The Museum of Stefan Żeromski in Kielce

The Museum of Stefan Żeromski's School Years is located in the building of the former gymnasium where attended Stefan Żeromski. The building of the current museum stands on the slope of Kielce Castle Hill. 

Among interesting collections of the Museum of Stefan Żeromski's School Years in Kielce there are manuscripts of the writer's works e.g. "Faithful River", "The Dream of Bread". In the museum collection there are letters, a pen, documents and pictures related to the writer's education in the Male Government Gymnasium in Kielce. Żeromski's school certificates have survived, as well as a page from his school diary. In the Żeromski Museum in Kielce you can see many souvenirs related to the birthplace and childhood of Stefan Żeromski from Strawczyn, Wola Kopcowa, Krajno, Ciekoty, Holy Cross and Saint Catherine. The museum's collection includes manuscripts of works, letters from the writer over the years, and a gramophone record from 1924 with his recorded voice. The family tree will introduce us to the history of the Żeromski family. The museum conducts museum lessons and workshops intended mainly for school children. In the building there is the headquarter of the Society of Stefan Żeromski, who has been awarding scholarships to them annually for 25 years of Andrzej Radek for the most talented students.
