Muzeum Ziemi Buskiej w Busku-Zdroju
Muzeum
zostało otwarte w 1990 roku, znajduje się w odrestaurowanej
przedwojennej willi „Polonia”, drewnianym budynku ze stylowymi
elementami architektoniczno - rzeźbiarskimi oraz drewnianymi
schodami wewnątrz.
Muzeum dzieli budynek z Galerią Sztuki „Zielona”. W zbiorach muzeum znajduje się 3831 eksponatów z dziedziny sztuki, archeologii, etnografii, historii, militariów i numizmatyki.
Posiada następujące ekspozycje stałe: "Historia Miasta Buska, uzdrowiska i Ziemi Buskiej", "Busko i Ziemia Buska w malarstwie, grafice i rzeźbie", "Martyrologia miasta Buska", "Mieszkańcy Buska i Ziemi Buskiej - więźniowie obozów koncentracyjnych i łagrów sowieckich", ekspozycję pamiątek Krystyny Jamroz - sławnej śpiewaczki operowej i innych osób zasłużonych dla Buska i kultury narodowej, a także ekspozycję znalezisk archeologicznych z terenu miasta i gminy Busko i okolic.
Muzeum jest również organizatorem wystaw czasowych.
The
Museum of Busko Land in Busko-Zdrój
The
museum was opened in 1990, is located in the restored pre-war villa
"Polonia", a wooden building with stylish architectural and
sculptural elements and a wooden staircase inside.
The museum
shares the building with the "Zielona" Art Gallery.
The
museum has in its collection 3831 exhibits from the field of art,
archaeology, ethnography, history, military and numismatics.
It
has the following permanent exhibitions: "History of the City of
Busko, the Spa and the Busko Land", "Busko and the Busko
Land in Painting, Graphics and Sculpture", "Martyrology of
the City of Busko", "Inhabitants of Busko and the Busko
Land - Prisoners of Concentration Camps and Soviet Gulags", an
exhibition of memorabilia of Krystyna Jamroz - a famous opera singer
and other people of merit for Busko and national culture, as well as
an exhibition of archaeological finds from the town and municipality
of Busko and the surrounding area.
The museum also organizes
temporary exhibitions.
