Ulica Floriańska w Krakowie
Floriańska jest jedną z ważniejszych ulic Krakowa, to część Drogi Królewskiej, trasy prowadzącej do Zamku Królewskiego na Wawelu. Pod koniec XV w. większość budynków stojących wzdłuż ulicy Floriańskiej była murowana. Należały one głównie do zamożnych rodzin mieszczańskich i szlachty. Pod koniec XVIII stulecia zaczęły pojawiać się tu zajazdy, hotele i muzea. Nazwa wywodzi się od Bramy Floriańskiej i prowadzi w kierunku kościoła św. Floriana. Obecnie znajdują się tu sklepy, butiki, kawiarnie, restauracje i kluby. Ulica Floriańska stanowi fragment Drogi Królewskiej, ma 335 metrów długości, została wytyczona w 1257 roku, od ponad 700 lat nosi tę samą nazwę. Jest to ulica bardzo urokliwa, z wyjątkową atmosferą. Trzeba przyznać, że Ulica Floriańska ma ciekawą architekturę i otaczają ją niezwykłe miejsca, z jednej strony jest to Brama Floriańska, z drugiej zaś Rynek i górujący Kościół Mariacki.The Floriańska Street is the one of the important street of Cracow, this is a part of the Royal Route, the track leading to the Royal Castle in the Wawel. At the end of the 15th century, most of the buildings along Floriańska Street were made of a brick. They mainly belonged to the wealthy bourgeois families and nobility. At the end of the 18th century began appear here inns, hotels and museums began. The name came from the Floriańska Gate and leading in the direction of the Sains Florian Church. At present there are here shops, boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants and clubs.
