Rynek Starego Miasta w Warszawie

Rynek Starego Miasta w Warszawie do XVIII w.  był głównym placem w mieście, odbywały się tu wiece polityczne, demonstracje i przede wszystkim było to miejsce targowe.  Obecnie to miejsce spacerowe, gdzie w letnim ogródku można zjeść dobre lody, a także posilić się daniem konkretnym - podziwiając obrazy i obrazki staromiejskich artystów.  Na Rynku parkują czasem dorożkarze oferujący przejażdżkę historycznymi uliczkami. Tu odbywają się letnie koncerty Jazz na Starówce, ale i zimowe kiermasze świąteczne. Rynek łączy większość staromiejskich uliczek i tu znajdziemy najwięcej restauracji, kawiarni, sklepów z pamiątkami i wyrobami dawnych i współczesnych artystów.  Na Rynku znajdują się Staromiejski Dom Kultury, Muzeum Literatury im. Adama Mickiewicza i Muzeum Historyczne m. st. Warszawy, są tu też galerie sztuki. 

The Market Square of the City

The Market Square of the City - this is the main square of Warsaw until the 18th century. It was a place of political rallies, demonstrations and, above all, a market place. Today it's a place for a walk, where you can have a good ice cream in the summer garden, as well as a specific dish - while admiring the paintings and pictures of Old Town artists. There are sometimes carriage drivers parked on the Market Square offering rides through the historical streets. Take place here the summer concerts Jazz in the Old Town, but also the winter Christmas markets. The Market Square connects most of the Old Town streets and you'll find here many restaurants, cafes, souvenir stores and stores with products of old and modern artists.  At the Market Square there are The Old Town House of Culture, the Adam Mickiewicz Museum of Literature and the Historical Museum of Warsaw are also located here, there are here also art galleries.
